Juliet 2014 high school senior

I'm in the middle of busy season which means I haven't blogged in a while! SO, lets get things started with the fabulous Juliet! She has an amazing sense of style that I fell in love with. All of my seniors receive personal styling by me and Juliet was no exception. When she walked into my studio I died! she is stunning! She is beautiful, smart, funny, and loves vintage clothing...what's not to love!

Romeo High School | Maddy- class of 2015

This session was a long time in the making- My amazingly talented friend & make-up artist, Makeup Artistry by Jill (Harrison) Sollars, www.jillsollars.com, and I teamed up to create a session that really felt like our style, boho glam with a feminine/romantic feel to it. We started dreaming this session up last fall and couldn't wait for the weather to break so we could put it in action.

Styling of this session was a collaborated effort- We combed vintage clothing stores for unique pieces. We really wanted to have Maddy wear a tutu but couldn't find one that we loved so I made it out of an old wedding slip-crafty, right?!?!

The floral crown was a must!

Jill did an amazing job with hair & mu! She went with non-traditional eye colors and it was just perfect!

Jill and I work very differently than most- we don't need to share ideas so much because we already know what the other is thinking- she is my creative twin! It's an amazing thing to be able to work with someone that just totally understands your visions.

I can be very indecisive Jill is always my yay or nah for styling our seniors. If you can't tell I ♥ her!

Senior pictures are a once in a lifetime thing- I like to pamper my seniors. I work with a wonderfully talented professional make-up artist, you can find her site here --> www.jillsollars.com .

Professional make artists are trained to bring out your natural beauty and highlight your best features. As you can see it really makes a difference.

Hair is also a huge part of it. Having just your make up applied and passing on your hair is like having the perfect outfit with the same old shoes you always wear.

I personally style all of my seniors- its not uncommon for clients to come to the studio with a suitcase full of clothes. Chances are you already have a few amazing outfits just waiting to be put together. I LOVE this part!

aside from make-up, hair & killer outfits the next most important thing is your smile!

there is also posing- I prefer the unposed posed looks. I promise its not that hard. I'm there to help guide you to make sure you look amazing.

I adore portraits/headshots/close-ups whatever you want to call them, I ♥ em'.

location- since you've never had your senior pictures taken before I'm going to guess that you have no idea about locations...that's okay, I do. Whether you prefer a country setting or urban grunge I can help you find the perfect place.
