every year I use senior reps, spokes models or whatever term you would like to use it's all the same, to help promote my business. I am a referral based photographer so this is where I really invest my efforts. This year I wanted to change it up a little, instead of have several different sessions with my girls I made it a whole day, senior rep day.
Once the models were selected Jill and I started planning, If you follow my work at all you'll know Jill and I are a package deal. I'm not big on props but I am HUGE on clothes, jewelry, shoes, hair, make-up, basically all things pretty. I really wanted to stay true to my style while show casing the uniqueness of my girls.
Jill and I had such a fun day preparing, dressing and shooting this and the girls were a dream to work with ♥
Makenzie, Grosse Ile class of 2015
Jill and I created a backdrop that really spoke to us and what we love. We also supplied the dresses that girls are wearing. We always keep clothing at the studio for our girls, along with jewelry- we refer to the studio as girl world.
Marissa, Allen Park class of 2015
Amanda, Plymouth Canton class of 2015
Rachel, Allen Park class of 2015
Because it was a whole day we had to have lots of snacks & lunch. These wraps were AHHH-mazing, thank you to Grosse Ile Kroger (yes, Kroger of all places).
I will be having 1 more senior rep day this year, if you or anyone you know is interested please contact me at caron@photographybycaron.com

Cara ~ class of 2014
When Cara contacted me for senior pictures this summer we started talking about locations, clothes, etc. We also talked about hair & make up and she informed me that she will be doing her own. Normally all my seniors also book with my make up artist, but Cara did not. Once we got to the location I noticed Cara's perfect make up right away so I asked her if she did it herself or went to a professional. She replied with, "I am in cosmetology school but I want to focus on make-up". A few of my friends ended up hiring her. I gotta say it was pretty cool to see one of my seniors working. A big thanks to Cara's dad, Rob, for finding a super fun location to shoot in! Eastern Market is always a treat!

Juliet 2014 high school senior
I'm in the middle of busy season which means I haven't blogged in a while! SO, lets get things started with the fabulous Juliet! She has an amazing sense of style that I fell in love with. All of my seniors receive personal styling by me and Juliet was no exception. When she walked into my studio I died! she is stunning! She is beautiful, smart, funny, and loves vintage clothing...what's not to love!

featured senior Northville High school-class of 2014
Melissa almost never gets all dolled up mainly because she is a swimmer. But when it comes to senior pictures she went all out! Hair & make up by Make-up Artistry Jill Harrison (Sollars) and styling by me ♥.
I asked Melissa if she minds that I take before and after picture- she was cool with it...
Melissa has naturally curly hair- I love how Jill styled it!
Melissa has great clothes! I just helped her pull outfits together ♥ no need to go out and buy a bunch of new outfits for your session- I style all of my clients. All it takes is a new view on what you already have.
